Self-Exciting 1JZ & 2JZ Alternator (180AMP)
This is great if you are doing a build from the bottom up and don't have an alternator or want everything to be fresh.
This suits all models of JZ engines and is a great alternative to a standard traditional alternator that requires a signal to turn on your alternator to start charging, once this sees over 400rpm it will automatically start charging and like a standard alternator it will change its amps as required. This will usually see 13.8-14.4V from the moment you start up, we have personally tried and tested one for a few years now with no hiccups at a 9km RPM rev limit and making 1000HP.
